Our Story

JAHSAY is a family business rooted in Otavalo, Ecuador, and in our Kichwa heritage.

We come from Indigenous Kichwa families with deep connections to craftsmanship, textiles, and the traditions that have been part of our community for generations.

Our story is shaped by family, from generations of creating traditional pieces to sharing handcrafted goods with people beyond our community. Today, JAHSAY brings those experiences together as we work alongside members of our family and skilled artisans from our community.

Our journey begins with ponchos, combining tradition, craftsmanship, and new ideas while staying connected to where we come from. As JAHSAY grows, we hope to introduce new designs, clothing, accessories, and handcrafted pieces that carry that same connection forward.
